Kathryn Stoner is a scholar of contemporary Russia. She has authored and co-edited the following books, among others:Autocracy and Democracy in the Post-Communist World; Resisting the State: Reform and Retrenchment in Post-Soviet Russia;After the Collapse of Communism: Comparative Lessons of Transitions; and Local Heroes: The Political Economy of Russian Regional Governance. Her most recent book is Russia Resurrected: Its Power and Purpose in a New Global Order.
