Pavlo Klimkin was Foreign Minister of Ukraine from 2014 to 2019. He joined the Ukrainian Foreign Service in 1993 and has served at Ukrainian Embassies in London and Berlin, including as Ambassador to Germany from 2012 to 2014. He led Ukraine’s negotiating team for the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement and has worked as a researcher at the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences.
